Erik was diagnosed almost a year ago with ADHD combined type and possible ODD. For various reasons we switched psychiatrists and we were really pleased. We felt there was just something else wrong or different about him that ADHD did not explain. He fit into so many different categories but not one perfectly until......................tourette's syndrome was mentioned. From what I have read and observed from Erik it seems to fit him exactly. He has not been officially diagnosed with this but I have a gut feeling this is ADHD/Tourettes.
Anybody have a child with this or know where to get any good information or support regarding torettes?

Hello. Yes, I have a 10 yr. old who was diagnosed last summer with TS, ADHD, and a few other Co morbids that often accompany Tourette's. Getting that diagnosis, and learning about all of the (possible) associated disorders answered every question I'd ever had about her.

Your child may not have tourettes syndrome. ADHD/ADD kids can have motor tics or vocal tics and not full blown tourettes.
