adult with ADHD has child with ADHD | ADHD Information

Hello, I am new and have a question for anyone who may have an answer for me.
My husband has a son who was diagnosed with ADHD about 2 years ago and just in the last year or so has also been diagnosed with bi-polar. Recently he found out that his ex wife was recently diagnosed with Impusivness or ADHD and also has problems with depression.
There has been a lot of problems between his son and ex wife and my question is; how difficult is it for an adult with Impusivness/ADHD and depression deal with a child that has ADHD and Bi-Polar?
My husbands son live with his ex who has sole custody and placement and is very concerned of his sons inviroment

I am impulsive inattentive ADD and my son is ADHD.I have more patience with him than i have with anythingelse but he is the love of my life,maybe it is because i was told i could not have any more kids after my daughter.

to answer your question,it can be hard as i have a short fuse and he can get on my nerves sometimes but i manage to just walk away.as your stepson is bipolar also and the exwife has depression it must be difficult but there is no better person than her to understand him and help him cope with being ADHD
