Need book recommendations, please! | ADHD Information

I'm not sure on parenting books regarding ADHD, but Driven To Distraction (by Edward M. Hallowell, John J. Ratey ) is one of my favorite ADHD books. It would be a good one to read, just to get a better idea of all the different ways ADHD can present itself, how it can affect someone life, etc. They have another book called Answers To Distraction that is supposed to be helpful with parenting, although I haven't read the second one, so I can't say for sure what it's like.

Taking Charge of ADHD by Russell Barkley is also supposed to be great, but again, haven't read this one either. I've heard good things about all of Barkleys books.

Hope that helps a little

I've read a lot of books.  The book that has dealt the most with the day-to-day issues of ADHD was "From Chaos to Calm".  Here is a link:

Taking Charge of ADHD by Russel Barkley is a classic and is also very good.

I also like most books by Sam Goldstein.  He is an expert in behavior modification. Here is another link to his books:

I am looking for some good book recommendations that help a parent deal with children with ADHD.  The ones I ever seem to look at in the Library are very drab that uses al these medical terms.

I am look for a book that is simply written, can offer suggestions on routines, can offer suggestions on discipline, etc.

Thanks!
