What is it with the touching? | ADHD Information

What does a normal 4 yearold do? Good question. I can only tell you what my kids did. Both of my kids were like this at four. The older one (now 11) may have mild inatentive ADHD and grew out of this stage by about 6 or 7-she is a absolute joy to take shopping. My younger one (now 10) just got worse until I could not take her shopping (and keep track of her, stop her from touching everything, keep her from getting moody, and get my shopping done). I do not know how long an ADHD kid takes to mature out of this (if ever). My younger child is currently good for shopping only when medicated-then she is helpful, funny and great to be around.Do all four year olds do it?    My child touches so many things along the way.    She likes to bounce around the sidewalk (Boston) and cnnot walk straight to save her life!   Just bouncing and touching and moving and jiggling.      Sure is tiring to watch her.     At home she's quite the opposite.Oh yeah and still does sometimes.

funny I was going to ask the same question...  my son loves to come from behind me and slap me like a baseball player.  About the only thing a baseball player and I have in column is my big rearend.  

He too likes to touch everything.
