Where can I find desoxyn? | ADHD Information

I am needing to change my ADD meds cos of a reaction to adderall. My insurance covers generic desoxyn but Walgreens doesn't carry it. I am wondering if any other national chains carry it. Where do people get it???

surprised they didn't have it. Try asking them to order iit in. When i was on
that, I got it from the Walgreens.i'd like to switch to it but my psych won't budge off adderall. i've thought about getting desoxyn from my primary physician but he's not a big supporter of adhd meds! what are the chances he'll prescribe desoxyn!?!? he told me he has a few patients he prescribes adderall for. (thet're in there 50's)Maybe you should find a new doc?You might have to obtain it on an online pharmacy, but it's a bitch to find one your insurance will pay for.

I'm very surprised you got a perscription for Desoxyn, the most powerful and potent of all ADD/ADHD medications. I decided to try ritalin....was just curious about desoxyn. I took ritalin 7-8 yrs. ago before I began taking adderall. I'm not sure I like the ritalin....kinda makes me feel a lil moody unlike adderall. But I will give it a try and ask for dexadrine next if this doesn't work out. My doc is very good about letting me be involved in my treatment decisions. He did give me some ativan to take as needed...I may need it to take the edge off.
