Need Recommendation Dr. in St. Louis, MO | ADHD Information

I've always found this board to be very helpful.  I'm hoping that someone can recommend a top notch child psychiatrist to help my 6 year old son.  I've been taking him to a so-so doctor in St. Charles, MO and feel that he's helped my son about as much as he can.  I still feel like we're not quite there in getting him the help he needs.  I'm also interested in a doc that has a great staff too.  The other day my son was let out of school early and there was a medication mix-up because of it.  My son ended up getting a double dosage of his Clonidine medication.  When I called my son's psychiatrist's office, the staff told me his doc was not there but they'd ask another doc what I should do.  I waited an hour and called them back to see if they had found out anything.  At that point they told me that my son's file was in the "stack" to be seen by the doc and that they'd call me back when they did all of their other call backs at the end of the day!  Dr. Greg Mattingly was his name in case anyone is interested.  The doc is ok but the staff is awful.  Needless to say I went totally nuts when his staff told me this and then called my son's peds office who immediately referred me to poison control.  Why the psychiatrists office couldn't have just done that I have no idea.

I appreciate any recommendations that you can offer.  Thank you!

I think we take our kids to the same office, but see different doctors.
My ds sees Dr. Richard Anderson, and has for about 3 years. He seems just ok too. I've not been able to locate any other child psychiatrists either. The only ones are with St. Charles Psychiatric Associates.
I live in Lincoln County so I would rather not travel too far---like downtown St. Louis.
Sorry this info doesn't help you--but it's nice to see someone in my "area".

I hope we both can find another recommendation then! lol  Several months ago someone on this board had given me a name of a doctor that was actually a pediatrician AND a psychiatrist and she just raved about him.  Sadly, I cannot find the name that I had written down and was hoping to get that name again.  I'll keep trying to locate the doctor that she had mentioned and will let you know if I come across it.
