vent # i’ve lost count..anyone married? | ADHD Information

this is my vent:

one of the reasons why i haven't posted in awhile:

my husband freaking cut and pasted some of my damned posts and then sent me an email to debate about semantics.

LAME

i hope he reads this b/c when i post on the net its with the assumption of semi privacy derived from the notion of ANONYMITY

and since i harbor no crimes and don't try to commit any this should be fine and free and clear for me.

but not when you're married and your suspicious husband lurks all over your computer and uses your favorites menu that you so innocently put on your computer b/c you trust your husband.

geez.

i love him to death but i am livid about the invasion of privacy.

thanks for listening guys..(when is my big mouth ever going to not get me in trouble?)

sumiah

Hey sumi.

I'm technically married.

I was only 18 years old when it happened. One day, an acquaintance asked- Lauralie (Is that your name?) wanna get married? I giggled, shrugged my shoulders, and said- sure, why not?

After all, it was April first.

That night, I invited my best friend to the ceremony. He invited two of his friends. We went to city hall, and filled out the papers. I wore one of those flowery head things and some old dress I dug up. He bought me a ring from a 25 cent machine. I almost protested when they said "you may now kiss..." I had a boyfriend at the time.

We all went to a restaurant, and I ate the best salad in the world.

Now I'm struggling to get a divorce. It's so easy to get married, but getting divorced is the hugest pain in the butt pile of paperwork and fees and AAAAAAAAAAAAAAa. I practically live at city hall.

Laurala - now that sure is an impulsive act.  You have won the ADHD award for the year

I can TOTALLY relate Sumiah. Just before our 4th hurricane, I tried to post something really " scattered brained" I did. My hubby can into MY computer room, snuck up behind me and started reading. I logged off before I sent it. Than he had the kahunas to say " I'm hiding" something, and insisted I log back on so he could read my other stuff and see what goes on here.

He never made fun of us and saw that I wasn't hiding anything.  I don't know what he was expecting to find. Maybe I was having a "secrete affaire or something? MEN! Guys, please don't take it personally, this was aimed at MY hubby!

I still feel funny posting when he is awake. It's about 5am, he's still sleeping. But thats why I haven't posted in a while. When I'm alone, I really have to ask y'all a question. Probably tomorrow morning. It's quite funny!

Also Sumaiah, I love my husband to death to, but resent my invasion of privacy Gotta go! Alarm went off!

Yes the internet has opened up many opportunities for marital discord unfortunately.  Sorry to hear this has happened - and to Sumiah's hubby if you read this - she has never been anything but nice on this forum and we would really miss her if she quit us due to problems it may be causing.

My husband and I have had issues similar to this in the past, but I think he prefers that I have somewhere to vent and release my issues, without always chewing out his ear.
