Stimulants & Pressure in the Head??? | ADHD Information

HELP, PLEASE!

I first started on concerta about a month ago.  Ramped up really slowly to 54mg.  The day after I got to that dose, I went up to Vermont for a friend's wedding & forgot my Wellbutrin & Concerta.

I didn't notice anything really over that long weekend, but when I got home Sunday night I crashed and burned.  I was sooo tired, and my skull felt like it was full of heavy sludge.  My thinking was REALLY slow and I couldn't even get out a complete sentence, just jumbled words.  The next day I took the full doses of each again(did that a few times w my WBXL in the past & never noticed anything), waiting & praying that my head would clear up & so would my out-of-it brain! I then went to the Dr. on Wed, I told him I didn't notice any improvement in attention or drive, but was feeling out there & about my head.  He said he wanted to push the dose higher.  The next morning I woke up & took 72mg, and hell really ensued from there.  I was a basketcase.  SOOO depressed, brain so out-of-it, and the pressure in my skull & back of my eyes was awful.  Now, I've tapered off it, but I still have the out-of-it/brain dead feeling and pressure feeling. My Dr. gave me a new Rx for adderall XR, and I took my first 10mg pill today...not sure if anything's happenin'.  With the last 2 weeks being in such a serious fog that I can't work, i  am getting nervous that i won't get my old brain back!!!  Would withdrawl symptoms look like this and if so, how long do they take to subside?? I'm even starting to feel paranoid enough that I might call up on of my neurologists who specializes in Cognition & Memory, to see if he'll see me.  If anyone has any experience or advice, I would really appreciate it.  I'm dumping my psych.  Even my supposed "initial eval" was a longer med check at best.  Please help! Thanks so much.
