So, Um, Lexapro and Adderall yay? | ADHD Information

One week on both and it seems to work fine, no currently noticeable side effects. I have a strange sensation of inner peace. Makes me think I'm some sort of wise man.

Anyone else try this combination and did it work for you? Worst side effects? etc etc
yep tried it. it worked for a while but then it stopped. that was before i knew
i had Bipolar too though.Koz

When I was on this combo I found after about 6 weeks that I had developed an very strong carefree attitude. While this doesn't sound bad, I realized I was falling behind on work becuase I had this "I don't give a f___!" demeanor.

This was one of the reasons I stopped taking Lexapro (10mg) and was switched by my doctor to Cymbalta (60mg). After about a week on Cymbalta the attitude change was back to almost "normal."

I tend to run in a "high-performance" mode both at work and my personal life. So while the Lexapro helped manage modulating emotions, it caused alot of anxiety since I wanted to be doing tasks and activities, but at the same time I could care less so I didn't carry-through.

yeah it makes me not really give a f*ck which feels great. but I combined it with taking antacids to potentiate the adderall effect and some other things to get my energy going (i've been doing qi gong, which is a martial art...it's like yoga, and it works for me in terms of making me feel more energetic and exercising) and that reduces the effect of not caring. but no side effects at all from lexapro! The one that always hits me hard with antidepressants is sexual side effects, and I have nothing with lexapro. ah, hopefully it will work for me. we'll see. cymbalta gives me some creepy jaw clamping and uncontrollable shakes.
