sleep help

http://www.mnsu.edu/counseling/sleep.htmlDo you think it is possible to become addicted to insomnia.  Strange question dont you think.  But I really enjoy being up late and forcing my self to stay awake.  I love the night.  I hate the days.  I love an excuse to sleep the days away.  And as soon as the sun sets, I have this huge boost of energy and feel alive again.  WHAT IS THIS.  I would love to feel great in the days too - for my kids, but I so love my peace and quiet that only late evenings bring.I'm up all night a lot of times. It seems a lot of add people tend to be night owls. I know it has nothing to do with meds Because I was always like this long before I even knew what add was. I'm on a sleeping about every 2 days schedule now. The good part is I have tons of time to get things done. Of course the flip side is I either can't concentrate or can't decide what to do with that time. nope paul it is not a female thing i am in bed by 11pm adn wake up no later than 8am  i can not forse myself to stay in bed any longer...my husband can go to bed at 9pm and sleep until noon if not longerPaul, sorry, no way is this a female thing.  While I am like your wife also, my brother beats us all hands down.  At 35+, he still stays up to around 1 or 2 am like my father did, & both of them hated mornings.  And they both married opposites, thank goodness.I stayed up till 4:30 am this morning, couldnt sleep.  So i decided at about 3:00 to wake my hubby up and make him have a cuppa with me.  Finally fell asleep at 4:30pm (last time I looked at the clock anyways).

Rae70,

Not to be sexist, but could this be a female thing?  My wife is also a night owl and loves to stay up late then sleep in.  This works well with us since I hate to stay in bed in the morning letting the day slip away.  So I get up with the kids make em breakfast while she catches the extra winks lost the night before.

Paul
