[QUOTE=Davidornado]I don't suffer from ADHD, I rather enjoy it.
It appears to be those around me that suffer...

Great comment David ...:-)...

I agree with pretty much all you've written ... allz I'd say is that 'It appears to be those around me that suffer...' is more a consequence of their *not having Add* than it is with them having to put up with my ADD ...:-)...
better stop there ... I appear to be losing my voice ... ... ...

:-)

SB.

I hate tweezing my eyebrows and shaving my legs.
I only do it if i go out somewhere special and my legs in the summer.
My pits i do.
Luckily my hairs are light. My nails are in a sorry state clean but not pampered or painted.
I worry about being stinky and keep really clean but not obssesively.
I could do more with my hair but i don't really have the patience. Won't leave the house without lipstick and mascara ..
I was in the gothic scene for ten years and that was high maintainance. I miss my gothic look but now I have other priorities.
If I were wealthy I'd be glamorous !
I love when men  are well groomed, well dressed (nothing fancy) and take care of their body. But I can't stand when people are mainly concerned with outer appearances all the time.
I feel that keeping your body and teeth clean is very important.

There are an awful lot of people without ADD that don't groom themselves but if it's prevalent with us is a good question. I hope not !

worldisround38959.2118981481pretty much, yes.

I guess we have a different set of values.

As to what's important. And how to get through life.

Coping.

It's not that it's wrong, it's just a different way of doing it.

It's like that saying:

I don't suffer from ADHD, I rather enjoy it. It appears to be those around me that suffer...

This is embarassing to relate, but do DD'ers have difficulty with grooming tasks?  Like the tasks are too boring to do and you want to avoid them, or you spend the bare amount of time necessary to do them?  I've gone to work or school with wet hair because I didn't have the patience to dry it.

Do ADD'ers have difficulty maintaining things - like their home or possessions or health?
