Anyone have doubts? What do you think it is? Anyone see a NeuroPsych?
I think it's often misdiagnosed and many times go hand-in-hand with other conditions. ie: diet, sensory, anxiety, sleep, deficiencies .. just from the top of my head.
my ds doctor is neurologists isn't that the same thing? No a neurologist and neuropsych are two different docs... The neurologist is a medical doctor and the neuropsych is a psychologist with extra training in the areas of autism, ASD, ADHD, conduct disorders ect. , learning disabilities, ect.Anyone have doubts? What do you think it is? Anyone see a NeuroPsych?i saw a neuropsych once but never again cause he bored the life out of me.
Anyone have doubts? What do you think it is? We went to one. And he is fantastic! he was able to rule out the things the pdoc was trying to label my ds with. all he has is adhd. we took him off the meds the pdoc had him on and now he's only on 2, adderal and thresadone sp? for the hand tremors. I tell you he did all kinds of tests. he did a Tova, EEG, mri and a ct scan. We got the best doc in the Houston area. Good luck. If you need any help finding one in your area, pm me and i'll ask my son's doc to recommend one close to where you live, if in the U.S.
