there is an undelying problem associated with adhd, my daughter has Encopresis  its a problem with soiling, heres a link to look at , and hope it helps.....

well i didnt now that this is what my son has suffered with for some many years, we stick to strick routine and it has become better in the last couple of years, martin is now 15yrs old he used to soil his pants reguarly especially if he was spending time concentrating, and had consumed alot of chocolate foods in his diet,

we have never used medicine to help him his thirst health vistor said it was because he never ate enough meat but i didnt agree with this a couple of years ago i contacted the new health vistor who did a chart to see how regulary this happened to martin,

but since we have been monitioring this problem and dealt with it with martin hes inproved,

martins schoolday starts at 6.30am he takes his meds and eats his cerial while watching tv after half an hour he then goes to the bathroom for about half an hour with a book or something he enjoys doing while hes concentrating he can normally have a bowel movement, this means he doesnt soil quite as muych also by the time he finishes in the bathroom hes normally calmer and easier to manage,
