I am getting sick of doctors jerking me around. I have the 4 year old with lead poisoning and the(one) doctor quickly diagnosed him with ADHD and put him on Focalin XR 5 mg. That didn't work so it went to Focalin 5 mg and Risperdal .25ml at bed time. Well that caused him to go into a rage and smack himself so bad he had broses on his face!! I can cry right now. I wish someone would diagnose him properly and really give him help. Is it autism , PDD or what?! Not even the doctors know and now I read that lead poison damage to the brain is irreversible! Please help me! He screams REALLY loud and smacks him self when he is mad or don't get his way. We have a little dog and he gets joy out of hurting her and making her growl. So sad!! I dont know what to do or where to turn!

wildman0238965.740162037Lead poisining has symptoms of it's own which are just that--lead poisining. We thought of adopting a little five year old who had it. He had some hyperactivity symptoms, a lot of raging, lowered IQ and was very difficult, but very sweet. We ended up not being able to adopt him due to his own legal situation, but his diagnosis was "lead poisining" I believe, although he was on meds for ADHD. Is there no way you can lower the lead level? If I remember (this was years ago) I thought you could lower it, but, again, this was years ago. I could be wrong. pammar38965.722337963Please make the font bigger. Sorry I didnt put my contacts in today and
without them im practically blind!!

can you increase the size of the font?  I am not trying to be rude, but it's just too small for me to read.  we really want to help you and look forward to reading and helping you out.
