My grown son, who has a history of insomnia, was on it. He hated it and couldn't stay awake. He took himself off of it.my son has ADHD/BIPOLAR and was just prescribed lamictal for the bipolar and remeron to help him sleep at night. He woke up this morning feeling extremely drowsy.  The school just called me and told me that he is trying to fall asleep in class. I was wondering if anyone has had their children on remeron to help with sleep and if they have experience this drowsiness with them.  The doctor prescribed 15mg at night time..
