My adhd child babbled at about 8 months with talking soon to follow.  He spoke full sentences shortly after first birthday.  Very strange to see and hear a child this young speaking in full sentences!

No cerebral palsy, although we did have a difficult birth and I was worried about this for the first year.

Hi pammar! He's been getting PT and OT and ST from 6 months onwards. But my feeling is that his speech delay has less to do with his cp and more to do with damage to the temporal lobes. His cp is way too mild to cause the delays he's having with speech. At what age did you child babble?

How many kids have cerebral palsy as well?

I have five kids. They started babbling (and this is from memory) from 6 months or so. My youngest spoke in sentences at ten months. She was very precocious. I would think CP would definitely have something to do with your child's problems. Have you seen a Neurologist? Is your child under care for the CP?pammar38970.4928587963
