It is not that you are being a chicken. Being in the medical field, you are more likely to have experienced patients with severe reactions to meds etc and you do see the worst all the time. It is only normal that you may feel a little more apprehensive than most.

And these meds require a lot of personal attention to reactions etc, so your reaction is completely understandable.

I do not take Strattera I am on Adderall XR 20 mg but my son does take Strattera along with his Adderall XR 10 mg and Lexapro. He was also having problems sleeping. We switched to taking it in the morning along with the Adderall and now he can sleep without a problem.

Hi Marianne......what I do know about straterra is that its a blood level medication so you will experience a ramp effect meaning it can take up to 6 weeks until you experience the full effect of the medication. Good luck and keep us posted.

I fell very good today have not taken 2nd pill yet.

Oddly i feel very good and even less anxiety as my norm?!

Hello I'm new, 47 years old a mother of one son a teen. Married.

I have been very scattered many months now to the point cannot even seem to think strait most the time... my mind is racing I'm impulsive and I cannot even write well as I use to..I do get depressed have all bbeen most of my adult life and am on a low dose of Lexapro for this, it has helped and have anxiety as well..but that's been all my life lol.

I have to say I am glad Im a taking break from my Nursing b/c I cannot get my head together.. so

forgetful..my writing is terrible and I miss words as if my hand is faster then my mind not making sense many times have to go over everything....feel senile lol ....very very upsetting!!!!

I am also going through menopause so the DR is trying me on a new med for ADD which we both suspect I have --my mother had suspected this as well as i was growing up.

So by process of trying out meds to see what my real diagnosis is I am on Straterra.

I took my 25mg cap tonight thinking omg I hope I will not react..well i felt something going on but got through it..i hope the rather odd feeling of wired and a chills running down my spine feeling and restless legs go away..I had it a few hrs after taking but promised myself not to ruminate over it...and not think of side effets ..oh yes I am unable to sleep..was up all night w/the eyes wide open feeling but no increds anxiety..oddly no racing thoughts as my norm while in bed ? this is the next day I am posting this have not taken my 2nd pill.

I want to get my life in order.

I am praying it helps but feel I should stay in while on it the first few days or not go out after taking it -- help please-- anyone my age taking this? I read some posts and saw a few people my age people on it but did not reply to them since I hadn't signed up. this is my first post
