Wearing glassses sucks !

Yes, at first contacts are easy to loose because your eye think it's a huge particle that needs to be expelled. Eventually it learns the contact is supposed to stay there. I get disposables so that I can keep them in all day and if I lose one or both, I can just open a package and get another one. The price of contacts have been reduced because of Lasik (I hope to get that one day.)

Disposables! I just might try that, Cheeky. Lasik kinda scares me. Someone said they were "outrages in price",  but that was when they first came out. By the time I can afford Lasik, I'll probably be dead! Not trying to be morbid about it, but thats how long it will take me to get my courage up. Thanks for the update. I hope you can get your Lasik soon. That would be so AWESOME. AAHH... not to have to think about losing glasses or contacts ever again!

The other things mentioned, are only minor problems b/c only I have to know, not my hubby heeee heeee. ops, sorry, brain fart! The remote! The thing men can't live without. Rae, I never put it in the fridge(yet), but I have gathered it up with the clothes I put in the hamper at least twice! And yes, my mind.

Cheeky, whats your secrete with the contacts? I'd probably loose them more than my glasses.

P.S once when I was making Mudslides, I lost count of the shots of vodka. Keep in mind, I don't drink very much, but when I do, my shots of everything are usually double! Use you imagination!

tv remotes 

tweezers (black hole) -- funny ME TOO!  I don't know how many of them I have purchased.

pens - I not only lose them, I accidentally steal them.

wedding rings -- not an issue for me, but I am missing the match to almost all my earrings.

wallet (always somewhere it can be easily stolen) - YUP!

sun glasses - have to buy cheap ones now.

How many of y'all wear glasses just to watch TV or drive, and for some problem or another can't wear contacts? I hate the way they feel, so after I get home, the glasses come off. But where do they go?

I have  system that workes for keeping stuff in order. First, we have a key rack. It works for me. Than clothes go into the hamper, feed my parrot Tequila, than sit down to watch TV.aaaahhhh our livingroom is huge and our TV is a 27"WHERE ARE MY F**KN' glasses! I walk around the house, trying to play it cool, but than my husband says " can't find those glasses can you"? Sheepishly I utter a pathatic "yes". No matter how I try,I ALWAYS misplace the stupid things. This has been going on for maaaanny yrs. I always find them, and tell myself it will never happen again. Tonight must have been the thousand th time  And they do end up in some pretty strange places

I know we all misplace stuff time to time, but is there anyone that has that special item they can never find? And is it something you don't like? I can't be the only one(hope not)

tv remotes (find them in the fridge sometimes),

tweezers (black hole),

pens (I reckon the dog eats them),

wedding rings (always scares the dickens out of me - I warned my husband not to spend so much on them),

wallet (always somewhere it can be easily stolen),

sun glasses (never know, my kids have to find them),

my kids (dont know, but I hope they are still alive),

My mind (i am sure I left it around here somewhere!)

But what I really hate misplacing is my contraceptive pill (found that in the laundry basket today) - ooops

And the worst thing in the world is my glass of wine - I leave them somewhere convenient and always have to pour myself another -hmmm them I never find again.
