You did what you thought was best at the time. We didn't have a bday party yesterday and we ended up celebrating it today. I feel awful but I couldn't go against my word. He was being rude and disrespectful and mean .. and I gave him ample warnings and time-outs. After a while, what's the point in celebrating when we're both in a sour mood? So I post-poned it. Oh well. We had a good celebration tonight. He's happy. I still feel guilty.Happy (belated) birthday to him! Thank you everyone! Unfortunately, due to his behaviour, we will be celebrating it (hopefully) tomorrow. I feel like the biggest witch. If he's not ready to celebrate with me, then we'll wait for when he's ready. Am I being too harsh? I guess that depends on what he did.   What did he do? You do only have one "birth" day a year though, so that is kinda sad. I hope he has a better day tomorrow. Well, Happy HAPPY, today or another day.  Won't his little friends be sad if there's no party?
