12 Hour XR only lasts 5 hours? | ADHD Information

Is it just me?? My adderall only lasts about 5 hours before i get the massive
headache.... only overdosing prolongs the effects. What do I do?have you talked to your doc about increasing dosage or even changing meds?  i am not an expert, but even within the 2 weeks i've been taking it, with side effects, i still receive the benefit of more focus, less distractability, etc.

you probably need to talk to your doc and either change dose or med.

Ok, I think Ill do that. Ritalin seems to have no effect on me, Adderal is the
only med powerful enough for me.are you taking adderall xr? my dosage, xr 20mg wears off within about six hours and I am totall exhausted when it does.  i am "tweaking" my meds right now, but you may want to add an afternoon dose if it's ok with your doc.  also, how long have you been taking it? Ive been taking Adderal XR since January. It barely does anything for me
anymore... Is there anything you can use to prolong the effect? Caffeine,
Vitamins?
