mixed medsWELCOME, CURTISL! You diden't say how long you have been on these meds, but PLEASE, contact your Doc as soon as possible! Yes, it could be the two meds don't mix well with your body chemistry. Or maybe the doses have to be adjusted. If these are the first two you've tried, unfortunatly sometimes it may take a while, especially with more than one. I'm currently on adderall 20mg three times a day, Klonipin(forget mg) also 3 times a day for anixiety. Since one is a stimulant, and the other is a mild seditive, it took the edge off the adderall and so far that seems to work most of the time. The reason this caught my eye was about 5 mos. ago, I had asked my Doc about Strattera, to try to get off the adderall. It just so happend I was given trial samples of Lexapro, for depression and had been taking it for a month. She told me the Lexapro can make you drowsey(it did sometimes) and since Strattera is a non stim. the two together could make me feel real sluggish and could actually make the depression worse Now remember, thats just MY personal experience and what I was told. I have severe insommiea, so for something to make me feel "sluggish" it would have to be something pretty strong So please Curtis, see your Doc ....... LIKE TOMORROW! Good luck and keep us posted I have been on strattera for about 6 months, but lexipro has been less then 30 days. I have an appointment the 15th of Oct, but I am going to try to get in sooner. My doctor is in a building by herself and she is very busy so its hard to see her sooner. If you would like ot keep in contact, feel free to email me at any time. I need someone I can relate to with adhd, to not feel alone.
