Hey Glen and you all - you should answere this one, since I read very little of these books and when I do I don't remeber what I read!!!
There are a lot of good books out there that people talk about on this forum!! Good luck finding them!!
The "driven to distraction" primer by Dr. Ed Hallowell is a great starter. I hear others mention quite a few but frankly I got stuck on other things and haven't bought many.
Try going on amazon.com and checking out the self help ADHD section. If you find one you might like maybe pass the name out in front of the group here!
Hi All:
I am in dire need of some books or articles or something to help me cope with getting overwhelmed especially at work. It seems like I get too easily overwhelmed by the volume and/or complexity of some of my work tasks. Instead of tackling these tasks head-on, I tend to go into "shut down mode" where I do anything and everything to avoid tedious, complex, or laborious tasks and instead do tasks that are relatively mindless. Any suggestions for reading materials? Thanks all in advance.
