there is a section about ieps on that page.  check it out.

If your son has unpredictable behaviours and/or safety is a concern (for whatever reason), I wouldn't assume you'll be denied of an IEP. My son has one but he has a few other issues as well.

Has anyone had any sucess getting an IEP developed for just ADHD.  My son had an IEP when he was in early childhood and had a dx of significantly developmentaly delayed.  However, he no longer qualifies under that label.  He just has ADHD now and no IEP.  Any suggestions?

You can get an IEP for ADHD my child has one.  Write a letter to the CSE requesting a meeting and what you would like to accomplish and let them know of your sons needs.  The CSE has legally 30 school days to respond to you and 60 total school days to have a meeting with you.  Does your son have any needs to help his school life?  My girl has in hers PT for she has balance issues, socialization group, and handwriting help these are examples for you.  Good luck Jill
