I was just recently diagnosed with ADHD and I am currently taking Adderal xr. I jumped from 20mg a day to 60mg a day over a months time,, 30 mgs in the morning and 30 mgsd at noon. Every time they up the dosage, it works for a couple days, then nothing. Now that i am at the 60mg dosage, i am back to not getting any benefit from the medication. Im thinking about switching to Focaling XR. Any suggestions, anyone out there take Focalin?? help please...
Well, I started my daughter on 5mg of Focalin xr saturday. I didn't really see any changes, or side effects, but today is her first day at school while on the focalin. Hope I get a good report from her teacher.well, can anyone tell me if they know anyone that takes 90 mgs of adderal or more?? 90 mgs seems to work for about 3 hrs, then i have to take another 30mgs or so if i have stuff to do in the after noon, and then kinda take it as needed...any suggestions???
My son went from adderall to focalin, both xr, because the adderall made him moody in the extreme. So far the focalin is great.Just read your other posting and think adderall xr just must not be for you. Didn't realize that you had increased this much and still not working.....I'd suggest a change with your doctor.
