I was amazed to see a news article in a local newspaper.
It stated that new findings have shown that mothers that smoked during pregnancy have been showing up in the history of ADHD people. They believe this is a definite factor! Exposure to lead was another case finding.
Has anyone else seen this?
My word...I want my share of the next tobacco giant lawsuit!

Fried, Someone else posted that already. I don't buy it.
My sister doesn't smoke but her husband does and has been a consistant smoker but rarely smoked around either kids. One kid is ADHD, the other isn't. My sister is ADHD, I may be ADD and the rest of my siblings are so called "normal" and we have NEVER been around smoke....neither of our parents smoked.....not one cigerette or cigar or pipe.
I mean, really. They have been trying to find a cause for ADHD for how long and all the sudden they find a connection with cigerettes. I should think they ruled that out ages ago.
There is a genetic connection which in my opinion negates any environmental cause in my opinion.
METALS ARE HURTING SOME KIDS BODIES. SINCE REMOVEING THESE FROM THE SHOTS NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS ARE DECLINING. THE THING ABOUT THIS WAS THAT THE SHOTS HAD TO MUCH MERCURY IN THEM. OVER THE LEGAL LIMIT. NET WORLD DAILY ARTICLE.
SMOKING CAN HURT THE BABY. MANY OTHER THINGS CAN TO.
If THEY WERE HONEST THAN ALL SMOKING MOMS WOULD HAVE ALL THEIR KIDS WITH A DISORDER. FACT IS DOESN'T ALWAYS HAPPEN.
THE BOTTOM LINE IS THE REAL DIFFERENCES IN EACH PERSONS METABOLIC SYSTEM. THIS IS WHY SOME DO WELL WITH SOMETHING AND OTHERS DON'T.
