My son was diagnosed with ADHD at the end of June. The doctor started him on 3/4 of a 10mg tablet, three times a day. By the beginning of August I recommended that he might need to go up to 10mg, three times a day. It wasn't working so the doctor put him on Concerta. That was useless. He was hyper as ever. I put him back on the 10mg, 3 times per day. It was working great. My concern now is that he is now doing well in school. Things have not changed with respect to academics. Socially, he's was doing fine up until the last week or so. He's really starting to disrupt the family. Should I be contacting the doctor or should I wait until his appointment at the end of October and see if there is any change in him. I appreciate any assistance...Thanks
busymom - are you saying that your son is behaving at school but his academics have not improved? I am a little
.
In so far as disrupting the family, could you describe a little of how?
