WE WENT TO A KIDS' HOSPITAL NO ONE REALLY WANTED TO DO MUCH. 2 DR.'S WANTED TO DX IN 20 MINTS. 2 WANTED A 3-5 DAY EEG IN HOSPITAL.

Find a children's hospital or a University hospital. We used both a developmental pediatrician and a neuropsychologist to do evaluations. The neuropsych did a full set of cognitive testing. It was very informative. Don't you have the Mayo Clinic up there? I hear that's a pretty good hospital.i'm curious as to how you chose the person whom was to eval your child. doctor recommendation? friend recommendation?
i'm thinking that we want to get our daughter evaluated soon. even if insurance won't cover it. i ideally would like to find someone that specializes in ADHD in girls...i live in the minneapolis area. i tried googling but didn't have much luck so far.
any suggestions for me?

We are taking our son to a pediatric psychiatrist for his evaluation, based on our pediatricians recommendation. I asked about the neurologist, and she said to let the ped psych start and see where it went from there, what she would recommend.
We were able to get in with a doctor that my friend used for her son and really liked.
