Lost Personality | ADHD Information




	Lost Personality I have been taking Strattera for 3 weeks now, and havent seen any results. I am afraid to go on stimulant medicine because I hear so many stories about people losing their personalities, or experiencing drastic side effects. Does anyone have any advice or info on this type of thing?My 9 year old son takes 60mg of Strattera & is doing wonderfully. With Strattera it will take up to 6 weeks to see the full effects. He did go through a week, 3rd or 4th, where I thought he was quieter & more subdued then normal. But now he is back to his regular, happy self, just less kenetic, & more focused.I dont know anything about ADHD except for the fact that i have it can anyone help me understand? ~MLE~ I have been on Adderall XR for 4 years now and I haven't had any side effects at all. It calms me down (I'm extremely hyperactive) and let's me focus. Pretty much it just lessens the severity of my symptoms. I have heard people say their children turn into zombies or their personallity changed but I have had none of those problems. My personality is exactly the same as it was before the stims but now I can focus and feel more comfortable when I do things and interect with others.
