I was just diagnosed with Adult ADHD and my psych. said 2 things that stood out to me when he prescriped me Focalin for treatment:
"you have to trust me on this"
"Focalin is the cleanest - it's the mercedes benz of all ADHD meds on the market"
Why preface it with "trust me"? Is Focalin not well revered?? What are the "dirty" alternatives?
He started me on 10 mg. today (I've noticed no difference) but he did say that dosage would be a trial and error type thing.
Information anyone??
well I'm sure a reason why he may have said that is for self reassurance but these guys gotta back up what the preach and they are not going to promote a bad product. I bet he has seen the best results from medicating people with focalin; as my doctor believes that Strattera is the answer to the future. well the real answer is that everybody is different. you are just gunna have to experiment around until you find something that works and stick with it!!
