who takes vitamins to help w adderal .... | ADHD Information

So ive been on adderal for a full week now, and i have to say I almost didnt take it today becuase the side effects blow. its only in the am when i first wake up that i feel like complete poo. my thinking is that im not getting enough vit. or fluid, one or the other, cuz when i wake up i feel ...blah. then i force myself to eat something so i can take my pill and then an hr or so later i feel fine again. till lunch comes along and i have to remind myself to eat. i could also feel like blah becuase ive lost 8 pounds in 1 week. i seriouslly feel stuffed after 3 bites. its nuts. but ive heard this is temp so hopefully eating gets easier. but since its so hard to eat. i want to take vitimins to help w what i dont get inside me. but i want to see what everyone else takes so i can get the best ones. ive heard i should avoid items w vit c. any tips would be greatly apprtiated. maybe i should drink alot of water b4 i go to bed?

I take a multiple vitiman at night...I figure taking it at night with my supper I don't have to worry about any interference with absorption of the Adderall I've taken earlier in the day--and anyway by evening I don't want my body taking up any more...I want to go to sleep in a while!

I also take fish oil and flax seed oil capsules, usually with breakfast and supper...I find this helped lower my blood cholesterol level (along with diet changes) so that I don't need to take another medication for that!

whats the name of your vit? what brand etc

I also take a multivitamin at night, with food. I am not going to recommend the brand, for it is not the best one out there (it's a one-a-day...they're enteric-coated, which apparently interferes w/ absorption. I still take them).

It won't matter how many vitamins you take, if you're not getting enough FOOD and water though. Regardless of whether you're hungry, you need to eat. By doing so, you will retrain your body to not feel as full all of the time. Losing 8 lbs in a week is sure to make a person feel terrible.
