If you are using insurance, the insurance company typically will not let it go through. Our company will only allow one prescription per month...the only exception is if the new prescription is different...For example the first prescription was for Adderall 15 and later it is determined that he/she really needs Adderall 20 then this type of change will go through.
Hope this helps
You may want to ask how long you can hang onto a prescription for a stimulant med...I think there might be some rules about this also.a doctor wrote me out a adderall xr script for 1 months worth like 1 week ago and i cant see him anymore because the cost is too expensive to see him so now this new doctor only had an opening yesterday and hes booked for 2 months.... can i fill a adderall xr from the new doctor 1 week after i filled another adderall xr script from another doctor? does anybody know?
Why don't you just wait until your current rx gets low and then fill the next rx?
