Please dont forget Dexamphetamine!!!!!!!

Hey Rae (interresting little icon you've got going on there...) Thanks! consider it "added to the list"!!!

PJ

Hi, I've gotten in touch with the administrator for this site, and we're trying to get together info (possibly to add here, but could end up in whole new forum) on all the different meds prescribed for the treatment of adhd, as well as it's comorbitities.....the hope is that once we get a comprehensive list together, that we can then establish actual links to websites that will give everyone specific information about each drug...what it's designed to treat, how it's supposed to help adhd kids (as I've learned first hand that there are a lot that were not originally intended to treat adhd, but they're prescribed anyway and they work), etc, etc....

I know right now we have a lot of parents signing in here to post their experiences about these meds, but we're wanting to add a way so that in addition to sharing our experiences with each other, that we can also provide an avenue to help people be able to educate themselves about all these meds, all in one convenient website, without having to check here to get opinions on something, then go searching around somewhere else to get the "medical info"....

Please help us come up with this comprehensive list....if you can think of anything to add to the list below, please let me know...this is what we've thought of so far:

Risperdal, Ritalin, Adderall (both regular and XR), Concerta, Depakote, Clonidine, Seroquel...

I really need all of your help, how cool would it be to be able find everything you'd like to know about adhd all "under one roof"?

Thanks in advance for your help!

PJ

Hi...to the list could we add Zoloft.   ( Cam is on this for his depression as well as ritalin for his ADHD ).

Thanks.

Yes I feel so SEXY now!!!!!! I don't see Strattera on the list.  My son also takes Lexapro for anxiety and OCD behaviors.  -Gettingagrip-
