from ADHD to ADD | ADHD Information
It is still called ADHD. When hyperactivity is not present it is usually defined as ADHD/innattentive type. My dd has never been hyper, but she is extremely impulsive/innattentive, her diagnosis is ADHD innattentive/impulsive.jfla posted about her ADHD son who seemed to becoming less hyper. I think some kids do calm down a bit. If she doesn't post on this thread, pm her and ask her what she's see.
My dd was soooo hyper before, run, talk, jump,....that was the reason I assume there was ADHD and dr dx her with diagnose ADHD-hyperactivity. But now, shes ten and there is no such H as before. She becomes lazy, even . Yes, she is stil talkative and noisy but in her final diagnosis, accent is on AD-attention deficit. Do you find it familiar, somehow?
