Hello, So my doc gave me some samples of Strattera 18 mg to try. I'm starting on the low dose because I'm very chemically sensitive eg 1 cup coffee in the am = no sleep till 1 in the am.
Anyway, I know there's no generic available in the US, but that a company does make one. Anyone out there have any ideas about how I could, strictly hypothetically of course, get some? I really can't pay 4$ a pill, and I have a
00 deductable!!!!

It appears the whole stimulant catagory may not be good for you. Another posibility to discuss with your doctor is if an antidepressant generic would be appropriate. I am only sugesting this because stratera was originally developed as an antidepressant and antidepressants are used as second and third line treatments for ADHD. Depending on your ADHD symptoms, guanfacine (Tenex) or clonidine may help. These are blood pressue meds that help with some of the ADHD symptoms and are also used as second and third line treatment for ADHD. Things to research and discuss with your doctor.
