I understand your excitement! My son just got a good report card also, and it is so wonderful to finally get "Good news"! Just to know that all your efforts are working! It's a great feeling. Enjoy it! I hope it continues also!!

I also bragged a little the other day about my son. It feels good to celebrate all the positive things.
That is wonderful! 
DD got her first report card ever in 2nd grade and she actually did well! 2 As, 1 B, and a C+. I was beyond happy. I had myself mentally prepared for Cs. She has continually struggled with attention, even with meds, and has a LD. We've increased meds 2x since school started trying to reduce her distractibility! She has an IEP in place and I was worried that it wasn't really doing much good. She seems to be off to a good start academically. And socially, she seems to be doing just fine. She is always playing with the neighbor kids and gets along well most of the time now. So now I am just going to enjoy this "up" period, and hope it lasts a long time!
