talking to the adhder about there diagnos | ADHD Information

WTG! Wanted to thank you all who posted about telling your child about adhd and meds etc. It prompted me to talk to DS about this on Sunday. He knows he has been going to see drs etc. I / we never set him down to chat about this. So I did, his response was he knows he is different.. but, everyone is.. that the meds have all helped him think about 1 thing instead of 5 or more.. but, this med does not make him mean and nasty... so, we may have a winner with the Strattera..

Thanks, Wanda   IN OUR CASE IT'S NOT HARD NOT TO KNOW HE HAS BEEN IN ST SINCE AGE 1. HE HAD OT FOR A WHILE ALSO. HE IS SE ALL DAY NOW. MOM TOLD HIM JUST LEARNS DIFFERENTLY.
