Adderall side effects | ADHD Information

I started taking adderall again recently when I started college after being off the meds for over a whole year.  Previously I had only taken the medication for a period of 7 months.  I merely need the medication for academic purposes hence that I am ADD.  After starting the whole process back up, I had to get used to eating again while being on the meds, except during the weekends when I'm not subjected to an academic environment, and no meds are required.  I've noticed some constipation, whereas I didn't have it before.  I also feel as though I'm focused, but I don't really retain the information the next day that I may have learned, even after a sufficient amount of sleep.  I'm starting to question whether I have ADD, or whether my hormones are just out of whack.  Has anyone else experienced these symptoms?  I take 20mg of adderall instant release once a day, and sometimes an afternoon dosage of 10mg is taken to counter the crash.I have a really bad problem with retaining info. I will study all night (I dont sleep much due to my meds) and I will still not be able to retian what i have just read. I have been trying to research this topic for a while now, b/c I only take my meds for college too and it is really putting a downer on me that I cant remember what I studied the week before.
