I found this source of information last week when I thought my life was spiraling out of control. It is great to read other points of view from people who understand and are living the same day to day things as me. My Daughter is 10 now and she has been diagnosed with ADD since she was 6. She lived with her Dad for quite sometime and he used her ADD as a way to control her and not parent her. At one time he had her on 8 different meds. Baisically she was a zombie. Now that she is back with me we have worked with her Doctors and she is only on Concerta and nothing else. She has her good days and bad days. The Bad ones can be pretty hard
I was looking for a support group of sorts to join when i stumbled across this message board. This has been a great help to me talking to people who really understand. Not just tell me what I should and shouldn't do.
Thanks to eveyone who has giving their advice it really helps hearing other points of view. Not to mention knowing I am not out there all alone.
