bus stop behavior | ADHD Information
Good for your son! I think our kids behavior makes them a target because the other kids see them getting into trouble and want to get them into trouble. Last year when my son was in kindergarten he had (still does) aggression issues but at the end of the year a girl kicked him really hard and he kicked her back. Didn't do anything else, no overreaccting. Teacher wanted to suspend him, but the principal didn't do it because she said it was the first time she saw him do what any normal little boy would do. And was actually proud of him!!! All kids react without thinking, they're kids, but sometimes ones like ours just lose it. DH, puts our boys on the bus in the morning I get them off. This morning, a neighbors boy, went to kick my DS, so he grabbed his foot and he flipped him on his back on his backpack.. Dh grabbed our guy and the other dad was there to get his son, there was five other boys there who said our DS was kicked and just protected him self...

, this is a very big deal that DS didn't just dive on him... Needless to say DH was very proud of his son... because he didn't loose control... and he was protecting him self...

Good for him - he should be proud! Not that I encourage hitting but our kids have a tendency to get beat up on and they shouldn't have to take it from anyone. Bravo!Congrats to your son! It's important for our kids to stand up for themselves. Last year, my ds got into trouble for punching a kid who was making anti-semitic remarks. I've never been so proud of him! Even though they weren't supposed to be, the teacher and the assistant principal were proud too.
I hope your ds didn't get into trouble for doing what he did! My ds got an afternoon of suspension and then we took him out to dinner.
I'm glad to see him respond appropriately. He stopped the bully but didn't beat him up! Way to go!
