I could do DDR, I tried. It was way too confusing. My son wants to try it. He isn't well coordinated, but is inspired by his sister who is really good at it. You can't be an old fart cr12345mr, I'm a year younger.
Maybe I'm just an old fart, but DDR looks really HARD. I've tried to do it a few times with my kids in the arcade, and I was completely lost. I'm sure it's fun once you catch on, but I wonder if it will just be an exercise in frustration? Or do they have a super, super, super easy setting? The child needs to be 8 yo to benefit...There's info on this on the Alternative board if you run a search.OH YES!!! my son's school is promoting it to all the parents! we are going to get our son one for his bday! At his ard meeting a few weeks ago the teachers said they all kicked their kids off it and they are using it to loose weight! lolMy son is turning 8 in a couple of months. I just wanted to clarify the schools recommended "Dance , Dance, Revolution"? That is good to know. With the VT they worked on his left/right awareness. He couldn't do this a year ago. I think the game will step it up to another level.Anyone have any sucess with this program. I have bought "Dance, Dance Revolution" while I think it over. It was suggested that IM could help my son's poor cordination.
Any thoughts?
