I am neither for or against this, just passing on an interesting article.
It will be interesting to see long term studies to see how beneficial it would be to start a kid that young on Ritalin - 10 -15 yrs from now. LOL

I think it is a mistake to even consider a diagnosis for a child that young, let alone rx meds.I think if a child is so bad that they are a danger to themselves or others due to impulsivity (running from parent into traffic, and other things I have read on this board), then diagnosis and treatment options should be explored for the safety of the child.
