I'm finding that there is not a lot of infomation out there on ADHD Inattentive type only. There is tons of information on Hyperactivity and combined types! Does anyone have any suggestions on where to look for more information? My twin girls don't seem to fit into most of the descriptions I find, because they are "only" inattentive.
Does anyone else here have kids (girls in particular) who are Inattentive type?
I would search the Library and or bookstore for Inattentiveness only.
My dd is inattentive w/no hyperactivity. After seeing all the "very deficient"s on her test scores, it was such a releif to see a "within normal ranges" for impulsiveness. I don't mean any offense to those who have kids with hyperactivity. It's just hard to see all those negative things about your kid.
I don't really know of any good sources for info, though. I'm still wrapping my mind around it all. It's only been 2 weeks since we go the diagnosis.
