I don't know if Straterra is the same as concerta, but stomach aches and head aches are on the list of possible side effects from concerta.
Does he ever complain of neck/throat pain?
We have not experienced reflux here.
My girls are complaining of sore throats along with headaches and tummy aches (they just started the meds). I didn't see any information about throat pain on the side effects for concerta. My question is - Has anyone experienced reflux from stimulant meds?
Wmtmann,
Strattera is not like concerta but can also cause stomach upset (dyspepsia):

Kahren,
I was cautioned by the doctor to make sure my daughter drank plenty of water with her concerta (to make sure it releases the med properly) and to drink during the day because she could get dehydrated more easily. This time of year with the heater turned on and extra dry indoor air is when we deal with more dehydration problems (including morning sore throat and headache).
Another thing to consider, it that if the concerta side effects do not subside, ask to try Daytrana (same med as concerta in a patch that sticks to the skin). It can cause stomach upset even though it does not go through the stomach but you might have better luck with it if the concerta does not work out. There is a Daytrana thread in the med forum.
vickie39014.3964236111I actually have the same question. DS has been complaining of stomach aches.. We can't tell if it is from the strattera or a nervous stomach..
