All three of my brother's step children were diagnosed and on meds (one still is on and the older 2 haved stopped since becoming adults).
My husband's uncle and his 3 kids are all diagnosed and treated.
I am kinda confused..i have 4 children 3 boys and 1 girl....10 yrs ago my 15 yr old son was diagnosed with ADHD.well my 10 yr old was just diagnosed with 98% ADHD.and the weird thing is my 6 yr old daughter is being tested for ADHD....How many families have 3 children outa 4 that are diagnosed with ADHD?and they r on medication?i have tried surfing the net to see if this was possible and i am having no luck..Stacy although the cause of ADHD is not known there is a strong connection between genetics and ADHD. I am almost 100% sure that my husband is our genetic link to ADHD. Also, I belive that CHADD has advertised for some studies that are looking at ADHD in families. Well ,needlesss to say with 3 out of 4 you sure must have your hands full. Welcome ty for the welcome...and as a child i was adhd...its just weird how 3 of 4 can have it..lol i do at times wen i have them all 2gether...unfortunatly i have been married twice so my boys live with their father.each father has an adhd child and i have my daughter who is.....In my husband's family 3 of the 4 children have either ADD or ADHD.....
