stimulates and age | ADHD Information

It's all too common of a myth that people get off of stimulants.  There are entire clinics dedicated to adult adhd and there is a reason for that: Few people "lose" their ADHD when they turn eighteen.  It's not your fault for not losing it and it is certainly better to stay on the medications if you still present symptoms.  If you want to try a non-stimulant, there are options out there.  I reccommend trying Wellbutrin XL or Provigil (it's not yet directly said to treat adhd but can work wonders! It is especially good at battling the after 5pm slump.). My psyc said I'll be on meds for the rest of my life.Im just curious @ what age should people start getting off of stimulets
