ADHD Personalities | ADHD Information

My ds is similar to your son in the ways you described.  I think it was during middle school that he showed that indeed he did feel things more deeply, but for the most part, not so.  Never really nursed a grudge or sulk...too busy enjoying life to be bothered.  He is still this way. My daughter who is 7 & was just diagnosed with ADHD this week, also doesn't exhibit some of things that we read/hear about.  My daughter also does not have emotional outburst.  She also does not really show aggression (just a little once in a while).  In general my daughter is very sweet natured.It would make sense that there is no one type of personality for a child with ADHD, but I've noticed that my son doesn't exhibit some of the things I read/hear about.  For instance, my son doesn't have emotional outbursts or oversensitivity.  In fact, he is the opposite.  Since a very early age, small hurts are water off a ducks back for him.  He doesn't nurse a grudge for more than a few minutes, doesn't tend to sulk and can be very easily distracted when he is upset about something.  In fact, I would almost say he seems not to feel things too deeply.  Does anyone else have an ADHD child with this characteristic?
