First week on Focalin | ADHD Information

My dd has been on Focalin for a week now.  In that week, she's done 3 things that she's wanted to do for at least a year now.  She made a book with a story and pictures.  She learned to tie her shoes.  And she learned to ride her bike without training wheels.  She is so proud!  I'm so proud!  It's been a nice week.

She may need a higher dose.  She doesn't seem to be improved on listening and remembering.  But when she gets started on something, she is able to focus on it and stick to it, which is a tremendous improvement.

 

that's great!  Congratulations!  Time to celebrate! Those are big steps.  I wish her continued success    I love it when things go as planned for a change!!  focalin is in the same family as ritalinyay!  how awesome for you and her!  and yay for cameron as well! i'm glad you've found a medicine that works.

Haven't heard of focalin - we don't get all the drugs in australia - what falily of drugs does it belong it etc?

My 8 year old son Cameron started on Focalin 4 days agp and so far so good.  He's eating wonderfully and can concentrate a bit better as well.

That is awesome!!!! My 5 y/o had been on focalin since Feb and I have also had great reaults with it.
