OMG! I'm ready to go jump off a cliff! My son got suspended yet again, for hitting a little girl. I've got a Dr.s appointment tomorrow. I'm at my wits end here, I'm so damn fustrated. I'm sorry, stacey.  I've been there, too.  HUGS! He's 8, I'm not going to take away his Halloween though, I've taken away everything else I'm out of stuff so I'll handle this a different way, anger management.

*No you do not have to take halloween away but have him make a I am sorry card for the little girl and if he does it again tell him he will have to give her a toy with it mom's choice.  That way he has to acknowledge and take responsibility for his actions.  When my girl when she was younger lost a barbie she never hit again.

 

 

Yes, that always makes it worse when someone else has to go pick them up. How old is he again?Sorry to hear that... Do they talk to him and find out what was going on?? I took my son to the doctor today and explained to him whats been going on, he said that there is no more meds that he can give to him (thank God) so he's going to have an accessment done to see why he's behaving so badly, then he may get counselling. I hope so. I told the dr. how his teacher threatened to call in Social Services (she made me feel like I was the problem) the dr. put me at ease and said that I was not to blame for this.  I felt horrible like I was like the worst mom on the planet. Anyway the dr. told me if the school/teacher threatens me again to call him and he'll have a few choice words for them. Apparently teachers are not allowed to make that judgement call, I didn't know that. So hopefully we'll get to the root of the problem and it'll be the end of it.
