We just got my son's first quarter report card! He earned an "E" (Excelling) in everything but writing where he earned an "O" (on grade level)
OMG, I am jumping for joy!!
We started out the school year in a real nightmare! After only three weeks we pulled him from public school and enrolled him in Distance learning which he does his work here at home and has a teacher/advisor over the telephone and computer.
I am so thankful for so much of the advise on this forum that helped my son succeed. We use the marble system AND supplement with the Omega's and magnesium.
At the beginning of the school year, I was worried we'd have to raise his dosage of Concerta. He is currently on 27 mg. He has zero side effects and no rebound. I was afraid a higher dosage would change all that. Well, luckily with the addition of the omegas and magnesium, there has been no need to raise the dosage.
