). Now I have no worries about the future with my son, we can figure it out, and he will be fine. He is still a normal 6-year old boy doing normal boy things, it is not just his ADHD. (sometimes LOL!) Just thought I would share a little good news and say a big THANK-YOU to every one here! You have helped son much on this journey! So glad to hear that! It's really nice to know they will be OK.
PEACE
That is really nice to hear. I read somewhere that parenting a child with ADHD is the hardest job you will ever have. It's a tough road with alot of tough decisions. Exceptance is a huge step in making like easier for yourself and your child. Good for you!
Good for you!

cr1234mr-

I prefer red wine for that peaceful feeling.
But, seriously, southernbelle, that's great. I'm glad you've come to that place.
Good for you!

I only took prozac one time. I was dating this guy who was on it (red flag) and we where breaking up, I was so pissed at him yelling and screaming and running around, he handed me a prozac and I popped it in my mouth......after a little while, I was like yeah, whatever, where breaking up, woooohoooo! It was wierd, calmed me right down. Neat stuff, maybe I should be on it every day?[QUOTE=Luvmykids02]So glad to here that you have come to terms with your child having ADHD. While it can be a long hard journey, this is yet another example of how finding the right treatment and interventions for your child can make all the difference, short and long term. That is the goal that all good parents strive for and when parent see significant progress, the slowly exhale little by little. While having ADHD can be quite challenging, there are far worse things and knowing that has gotten me through the difficult years with my son. Those with ADHD are normal but truly unique and have many gifts and talents and despite the challenges and struggles, I wouldn't want my son any other way. What great news. Thanks for sharing
